THE LONG-AWAITED LAUNCH OF THE TOURISM OF THE FUTURE IN CHILE

1 July, 2019

This past June 17 we launched a new initiative, which we are certain will represent a substantial change in the way we do tourism in Chile and the world.

It is a collaborative community for touristic lodging called Tiny Cabin, which is directed to entrepreneurs from all across the country. The initiative seeks that people who have a plot in areas of high touristic potential can have one or more houses, of 24.5 square meters each, which we will provide for renting.

They can be installed in 48 hours and their designs were conducted by the renowned national architects Mathias Klotz and Felipe Assadi.

This model of collaborative work is the first of its type in the world, and we are sure that it will boost national tourism and invite to see Chile in an environmentally friendly manner, since its design and making are completely sustainable, which will be a quality requirement for the tourism of the future.

In a second stage, we will help these investors to spread the word about their lodging offer through a website, where each place, along with information on its availability for national and international tourists, will be advertised and shared in renowned travel sites such as Airbnb and Booking.

As a way to promote massive participation of entrepreneurs, an online application process that ended in June 17 was opened. Of those received, the 50 best projects on a national level were selected, and will now be subjected to popular vote and will participate for preferential values for their Tiny Cabins.

The results show the interest and success the initiative has created, with over 1,000 applications on the website www.tinycabin.cl.

True to our history, at Tecno Fast we are marking a new path, now for the future of tourism, always offering innovative and high-quality solutions, making us leaders in the industry.

We invite you to be a part of Tiny Cabin.
