Hospital Salvador

With the construction of the new Hospital del Salvador and Instituto Nacional de Geriatría, the facility had to relocate more than 400 employees from all the clinical, administrative and industrial areas in the northern sector within a short period of time. The authorities opted to install a temporary modular hospital in the old Patio Sur parking lot.

Hospital Salvador

Through a public bidding process, Tecno Fast was awarded the project to manufacture and assemble six buildings of more than 500 modular units and 8,000 square meters in just six months.

 

The main challenge was to design a functional building that met all the technical requirements of the Ministry of Health.

 

The buildings have waiting rooms, patient bathrooms, medical care rooms, administrative areas, meeting rooms, staff bathrooms, emergency exits and universal access ramps.

Hospital Salvador

Hospital del Salvador serves more than 520 thousand patients per year.

 

Since the end of 2016, the modular facilities house the clinical areas of Psychiatry, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Anatomical Pathology and Microbiology Technical Area, among others.

 

The specialists work in a better equipped environment, since the spaces have better thermal insulation and air-conditioning systems.
